आपूर्ति की प्रणाली: कम तनाव - प्रत्यावर्ती धारा, 50 चक्र प्रति सेकंड
230 वोल्ट . पर सिंगल फेज आपूर्ति
400 वोल्ट . पर तीन चरण की आपूर्ति
एक कनेक्टेड / के साथ एलटी उपभोक्ताओं को बिजली की आपूर्ति के लिए टैरिफ लागू होते हैं।
घरेलू, गैर-घरेलू और स्ट्रीट लाइट श्रेणी के लिए 70 kW तक की अनुबंधित मांग . तक
औद्योगिक (एलटीआईएस) और सार्वजनिक वाटरवर्क्स (पीडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यू) श्रेणी के लिए 74 किलोवाट और 100 एचपी तक के लिए
एकल या तीन चरण आपूर्ति के तहत सिंचाई श्रेणी का विवरण नीचे दिया गया है:
• 7 kW तक एकल चरण आपूर्ति
• तीन चरण की आपूर्ति 5 किलोवाट और उससे अधिक।
• 5 kW और 7 kW के बीच लोड वाले उपभोक्ताओं के पास सिंगल फेज़ लेने का विकल्प होता है
या तीन चरण की आपूर्ति।
• एलटी इंडस्ट्रियल और एग्रीकल्चर लोड 5 kW तक के पास सिंगल पर सप्लाई लेने का विकल्प होता है

1. घरेलू

सेवा प्रयोज्यता
यह टैरिफ घरेलू उद्देश्यों जैसे रोशनी, पंखे, के लिए बिजली की आपूर्ति के लिए लागू है।
टीवी, हीटर, एयर-कंडीशनर, वाशिंग मशीन, एयर-कूलर, गीजर, रेफ्रिजरेटर,
पानी उठाने के लिए मोटर पंप सहित ओवन, मिक्सर और अन्य घरेलू उपकरण
घरेलू उद्देश्य। यह बहुमंजिला में सामान्य सुविधाओं पर भी लागू होता है, विशुद्ध रूप से
आवासीय अपार्टमेंट, भवन। इस टैरिफ में ग्रामीण इलाकों में कुटीर ज्योति कनेक्शन भी शामिल हैं
शहरी क्षेत्र।
1.1. कुटीर ज्योति / बीपीएल कनेक्शन (केजे / बीपीएल) - ग्रामीण / शहरी
यह गरीबी से नीचे के ग्रामीण और शहरी परिवारों के सभी आवास घरों पर लागू होगा
लाइन (बीपीएल) ग्रामीण विकास विभाग द्वारा प्रकाशित सूची/अधिसूचना के अनुसार,
समय-समय पर बिहार सरकार।
(i) ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्र में कुटीर ज्योति कनेक्शन का कुल कनेक्टेड लोड
250 वाट से अधिक न हो तथा प्रति माह 50 यूनिट की अधिकतम खपत होगी
इस श्रेणी के तहत अनुमति दी गई है।
(ii) ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों और शहरी क्षेत्रों दोनों में एलईडी / सीएफएल के उपयोग को प्रोत्साहित किया जाना चाहिए।
(iii) यदि यह पाया जाता है कि कनेक्टेड लोड पैरा (i) में निर्धारित मानदंडों से अधिक है
ऊपर, खपत की गई अतिरिक्त इकाइयों को डीएस पर लागू टैरिफ दरों पर बिल किया जाएगा

• I और DS- II श्रेणी जैसा भी मामला हो।
  1.2. घरेलू सेवा - I (डीएस - I ग्रामीण)
  यह ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में घरेलू परिसरों पर लागू होता है (अर्थात क्षेत्रों द्वारा कवर नहीं किए गए क्षेत्र
  डीएस-II के तहत दर्शाया गया है)। यदि परिसर के किसी हिस्से का उपयोग घरेलू के अलावा अन्य के लिए किया जाता है
  उद्देश्य के लिए, उस हिस्से के लिए एक अलग कनेक्शन लिया जाएगा और एनडीएस-I टैरिफ शेड्यूल होगा
  उस सेवा के लिए लागू हो।
  1.3. घरेलू सेवा - II (डीएस - II शहरी)
  यह शहरी विभाग द्वारा अधिसूचित शहरी क्षेत्रों में घरेलू परिसर के लिए लागू है
  विकास, बिहार सरकार समय-समय पर। यदि परिसर के किसी भाग का उपयोग किया जाता है
  घरेलू उद्देश्यों के अलावा, उस हिस्से के लिए एक अलग कनेक्शन लिया जाएगा और
  उस सेवा के लिए NDS-II टैरिफ शेड्यूल लागू होगा।
  1.4. घरेलू सेवा - III (डीएस-III समूह कनेक्शन) (वैकल्पिक)
  यह समूह आवासीय उपभोक्ताओं के लिए लागू है, जो सिंगल पॉइंट पर आपूर्ति का लाभ उठाने के इच्छुक हैं
  आवासीय टाउनशिप, पंजीकृत सोसायटियों, बहुमंजिला . में बिजली के उपयोग का उद्देश्य
  आवासीय परिसर (लिफ्टों, पानी पंपों और सामान्य प्रकाश व्यवस्था सहित)
  घर)। अधिकतम अनुमेय अनुबंध मांग 74KW होगी। यदि का कोई भाग
  परिसर का उपयोग घरेलू उद्देश्यों के अलावा अन्य के लिए किया जाता है, इसके लिए एक अलग कनेक्शन लिया जाएगा
  वह हिस्सा और एनडीएस-II टैरिफ शेड्यूल उस सेवा के लिए लागू होगा।

1. घरेलू

   माह यदि बिजली की आपूर्ति 21 घंटे/दिन से कम है, तो उस माह के लिए मांग शुल्क
   आनुपातिक आधार पर लगाया जाएगा।
   1.2. डीएस - I: (मांग आधारित)

   अनुबंध की मांग से अधिक की मांग का बिल सामान्य शुल्क से दोगुना होगा।
   मांग शुल्क की पूरी वसूली तभी की जाएगी जब बिजली की आपूर्ति विधिवत दर्ज की गई हो

(Effective from 1st April 2021)

PART - A: LOW TENSION SUPPLY

System of supply: Low Tension – Alternating Current, 50 cycles per second

Single Phase supply at 230 Volts

Three Phase supply at 400 Volts

The tariffs are applicable for the supply of electricity to L.T consumers with a connected /

contracted demand up to 70 kW for domestic, non-domestic, and Street Light Category, up to

74 kW for industrial (LTIS) and for public waterworks (PWW) category and up to 100 HP for

irrigation category under single or three-phase supply as detailed below:

• Single Phase supply up to 7 kW

• Three Phase supply 5 kW and above.

• Consumers having load between 5 kW and 7 kW have the option to take single phase

or three-phase supply.

• LT Industrial and Agriculture load up to 5 kW have the option to avail supply at single

phase or three-phase

Category of Service and TARIFF RATES

1. DOMESTIC

Service Applicability

This tariff is applicable for the supply of electricity for domestic purposes such as lights, fans,

televisions, heaters, air-conditioners, washing machines, air-coolers, geysers, refrigerators,

ovens, mixers, and other domestic appliances including motor pumps for lifting water for

domestic purposes. This is also applicable to the common facilities in the multistoried, purely

residential apartments, buildings. This Tariff also includes Kutir Jyoti connections in rural and

urban areas.

1.1. Kutir Jyoti / BPL Connections (KJ/BPL) – Rural / Urban

This will be applicable to all dwelling houses of rural and urban families below the poverty

line (BPL) as per the list/notification published by Rural Development Department,

Government of Bihar from time to time.

(i) The total connected load of Kutir Jyoti connection in a rural and urban area should

not exceed 250 watts and maximum consumption of 50 units per month shall be

allowed under this category.

(ii) Use of LED / CFL both in rural areas and urban areas should be encouraged.

(iii) In case it is detected that the connected load exceeds the norms prescribed in para (i)

above, the excess units consumed shall be billed at the tariff rates applicable to DS

– I and DS- II category as the case may be.

1.2. Domestic Service – I (DS – I Rural)

This is applicable to domestic premises in rural areas (i.e. areas not covered by areas

indicated under DS-II). If any portion of the premises is used for other than domestic

purposes, a separate connection shall be taken for that portion and the NDS-I tariff schedule shall

be applicable for that service.

1.3. Domestic Service – II (DS – II Urban)

This is applicable for domestic premises in urban areas notified by the Department of Urban

Development, Government of Bihar from time to time. If any portion of the premises is used

for other than domestic purposes, a separate connection shall be taken for that portion and

NDS-II tariff schedule shall be applicable for that service.

1.4. Domestic Service – III (DS-III Group Connection) (Optional)

This is applicable for group residential consumers willing to avail supply at single point for

the purpose of use of electricity in residential townships registered societies, multi-storied

residential complex (including lifts, water pumps, and common lighting within the

premises). The maximum allowable contract demand shall be 74KW. If any portion of the

premises is used for other than domestic purposes, a separate connection shall be taken for

that portion and NDS-II tariff schedule shall be applicable for that service.

The Demand Charges shall be recovered in full only if the supply of power duly recorded by the

consumer meter is maintained for at least 21 hours/day during the billing month. In any

1.2. DS – I: (Demand based)

contract demand whichever is higher.

If in any month the recorded maximum demand exceeds 105% of contract demand, that portion

of the demand in excess of the contract demand shall be billed at twice the normal charges.

The demand charges shall be recovered in full only if the supply of power duly recorded by the

consumer meter is maintained for at least 21 hours/day during the billing month. In any month

if the supply of power is less than 21 hours/day, then the demand charge for that month shall

be levied on a pro-rata basis.
